The family and friends of Julie and Dick Baker wish to invest in the education of a highly motivated, graduating high school senior currently attending school in the Rochester City School District. The recipient must plan to pursue a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) at a two- or four-year college, university, or technical school.
One award of $1,000 per year, renewable up to three times for a total of four awards in four consecutive years. Awards are contingent upon the recipient continuing to meet scholarship eligibility and will be made directly to the student.
The award recipient will be required to verify continued full-time enrollment in a STEM program, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and complete the scholarship renewal form to release subsequent scholarship payments.
These funds may be used for college expenses such as tuition, fees, books, and other expenses associated with higher education. The winner will be announced April 24, 2024. Funds will be provided upon proof of enrollment.
